The Celestial Corporation: Provision for the Vision

One of Dr. Mark Maynard's most iconic classroom lectures and keynote presentations was the "State of the Company Address." Blending his expertise as founder of Management House International (The CEO) with a powerful corporate allegory, Dr. Maynard challenged students, business owners, and entrepreneurs to view their ventures as an active partnership with the largest and oldest enterprise in the world.

Motto: "Come with an idea and leave with a business."
Motto: "Turn your dreams into reality."
"What is your dream, vision, idea, witty invention, innovation, or wise concept? If you take care of providing the provision for His vision, He will take care of your provision by granting you the wisdom and ability to create wealth."

"Find a Need and Fill It!" — The Power of Mentorship

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Mark Maynard was dedicated to mentoring young entrepreneurs and student leaders—teaching them to combine business acumen with kingdom purpose. Through initiatives like SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise / Enactus), "Let's Can Hunger," and student-led chapels based on Galatians 6:2, he challenged generations of students to turn faith into practical marketplace action.

// Student Mentee Perspective

"Dr. Maynard asked me if I liked money, buying food, and spending it. When I said yes, he said, 'Join SIFE!' Through his mentorship, I realized business is good—and with God first, it's even better. I learned more about practical biblical application from him than anywhere else."

// Executive & Family Reflection

"Dad wasn’t just a teacher; he was a leader of leaders. He saw potential in others, nurtured their talents, and lived by the principle that true success is measured by the successors you inspire to carry the torch forward."

Sustainability, Faith & Business Integration with Dr. Mark Maynard

In this guest presentation, Dr. Maynard explores the concept of organizational sustainability ("a dream that outlives the dreamer"), the distinction between poverty of money vs. poverty of knowledge, the infinite return on investment in spiritual seeds, and modern lessons from the Parable of the $100 Bills (Matthew 25).

  • Poverty vs. Knowledge: Citing Hosea 4:6, Dr. Maynard highlights that sustainable growth comes from acquiring and executing practical wisdom.
  • The Seed Principle: Demonstrating that while you can count seeds in an apple, you cannot count the infinite harvest inside a single seed.
  • Organizational Sustainability: Building enterprises and ministries designed to pass the torch effectively to future generations.
