Christian Entrepreneurs Organization • Inspired Marketplace Leadership
Sparking divine ideas, strategic innovation, and kingdom entrepreneurship. Founded on the principle that faith-driven leadership transforms workplaces, The CEO Radio Network was hosted by Dr. Mark E. Maynard to empower business leaders and entrepreneurs through practical marketplace wisdom.
Dr. Maynard was a Full Professor of Business at Evangel University in Springfield, MO, where he was chosen as Outstanding Teacher of the Year two times. He was an Associate Professor of Business at Oral Roberts University for nearly 20 years and taught at Drury University for four years.
He earned his Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas, his Master's Degree from the University of Central Missouri, his Bachelor's Degree from Evangel University, and an Associate in Applied Science in Marketing from Tulsa Community College. Dr. Maynard spearheaded the Christian Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) and hosted The CEO Radio Network beginning in May 2003.
Throughout its broadcasting tenure, The CEO Radio Network featured prominent co-hosts, guest entrepreneurs, and student leaders from ORU and Evangel University. Notably, Joshua Lakey joined as co-host in January 2006, contributing extensive startup and business planning expertise to the weekly Saturday morning broadcasts alongside guest executives and marketplace leaders.
One of Dr. Mark Maynard's most iconic classroom lectures and keynote presentations was the "State of the Company Address." Blending his expertise as founder of Management House International (The CEO) with a powerful corporate allegory, Dr. Maynard challenged students, business owners, and entrepreneurs to view their ventures as an active partnership with the largest and oldest enterprise in the world.
Beyond the classroom, Dr. Mark Maynard was dedicated to mentoring young entrepreneurs and student leaders—teaching them to combine business acumen with kingdom purpose. Through initiatives like SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise / Enactus), "Let's Can Hunger," and student-led chapels based on Galatians 6:2, he challenged generations of students to turn faith into practical marketplace action.
"Dr. Maynard asked me if I liked money, buying food, and spending it. When I said yes, he said, 'Join SIFE!' Through his mentorship, I realized business is good—and with God first, it's even better. I learned more about practical biblical application from him than anywhere else."
— Jose Socorro (Evangel University SIFE Alumnus)"Dad wasn’t just a teacher; he was a leader of leaders. He saw potential in others, nurtured their talents, and lived by the principle that true success is measured by the successors you inspire to carry the torch forward."

Introduced by Tom Leding, Dr. Mark Maynard delivers a message on seeking first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33), understanding God as the primary source of wealth creation, generating "wealth with a purpose," and instilling entrepreneurial business principles in the next generation.
In this guest presentation, Dr. Maynard explores the concept of organizational sustainability ("a dream that outlives the dreamer"), the distinction between poverty of money vs. poverty of knowledge, the infinite return on investment in spiritual seeds, and modern lessons from the Parable of the $100 Bills (Matthew 25).
